Michael Blank (BABBLE Designer)
Michael has been part of the dancing community for over six years. He has beenBABBLing for the past 3 years and 2 years on the BABBLE design team creating flyers and other marketing material for the 2011-2014 events. When he is not dancing he works as a graphic designer, animator and an illustrator. He loves to BABBLE in all BABBLICIOUS dance forms: Blues, Lindy & Bal. His favorite moves are the "Crazy Legs" and the "Messaround", in fact that's pretty much all he knows... unless he combines them! BABBRILLIANT!!!
Sarah LaBonte (Asst. Director, Sponsor Coordinator)
Sarah also lovingly known as "Red" by her dance brethren is upping the ante this year and is coming in as assistant director and continuing her role as sponsor coordinator for us. This will mark her 3nd year bringing the extras to our BABBLEisous event. She loves to connect amazing people with amazing events and is BABBLEd pink to be playing with BABBLE's team once more. She is a creator on many levels: a full-time international and NYC, large scale, event producer and consultant, in the dance world this includes: DJ Experiment in Philly, Hamlet Fusion Weekend in Denmark and Blues Recess Contingency with Justin Riley, a part-time dance instructor of Cocréa and Ecstatic Dance and a part-time yoga teacher with Yoga to the People, in her "spare-time" she also can be seen as an off-broadway producer, director and actor just for funsies once and a while. Catching her in NYC is a rare treat as this lady is on the move travelling the country almost 50% of her year, but when you do I recommend catching her for a dance!

Ryan Swift (DJ Coordinator)
Ryan has been swing dancing since 1998 and has been DJing for over a decade and he is no stranger to BABBLE.
He has had the privilege of spinning for numerous exchanges, dance camps, weekend workshops, and competitions, including national events such as ILHC, ULHS, Rhythmic Arts Festival, Southwest LindyFest, Swing Out New Hampshire, the Basie Centennial Weekend & Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing. Corporate events have included clients such as Gawker & Bally's Atlantic City.
Ryan is also music coordinator & house DJ for Yehoodi.com's weekly Frim Fram Jam, Thursdays in NYC.
And now he's gonna getcha BABBLEd!
Andrea Deck (Housing Coordinator)
Andrea might be new to BABBLETOWN as a DC transplant, but she’s ready to embrace the BABBLING curiosity. An avid blues dancer, Andrea has been organizing and running events for years with all sorts of groups, and is excited to embrace a BABBLETASTIC version of events. Known to be everyone’s Jewish mother- Andrea’s excited to share the warmth and BABBLICIOUS feeling of NYC with all of you, making sure everyone is happily housed and at least pretending to sleep during BABBLE this year.
Nicole Zonnenberg (Volunteer Coordinator)
Even though this is her first time BABBLING, Nicole has never been one to stand on the sidelines. Jumping straight into the New York scene in September of 2013, she has since become involved with the Big Apple Lindy Hoppers, Frankie 100, and Brooklyn Swings. Hailing from Tallahassee, FL, Nicole has run Seminole Stomp for three consecutive years and started Floor Divided in 2012, so she knows her way around an event. She cannot wait for her first BABBLE experience and wants everyone to know that even though she'll be working, please ask her to dance!

Ivan Huang (Food Coordinator)
You might have heard about Ivan Huang's extravagant dinner party before you met him. He was raised by the proud moose of Canada at an early, tender age. Relocated from California after college, he is now here in NY to pursue his passion in swing dance, photography, cooking, and underwater basket weaving. He often spends his free time reading culinary books, perfecting his fish tail, and arguing about what is the best type of music to swing to. It is his utmost pleasure to bring his dedication of good food/company to BABBLE this year . Ivan is also training to be an aspiring sommelier and a cat whisperer.
Kristin Walker (Product Master)
Kristin is very excited to be joining the BABBLE team for her first year! Originally hailing from Wyoming, she'll be working to bring awesome swag to BABBLE 2014 all the way from Western Oregon. She got heavily involved in both the swing and blues scenes on the west coast, and is currently the newest organizer for Crossroads Blues Fusion, in Eugene. When she's not dancing, Kristin is usually pouring energy into her other passion: a 7-year-old letterpress printing, graphic and product design business, Twin Ravens Press. She just launched TRP's sister company, Fire House Lasercutting, which specializes in custom engraved barware, furniture and housewares, and delightful, engraved, hand-painted, wooden journals and sketchbooks. (She is an Oregonian, after all). When she's not working, she loves driving her '63 VW Bug to the coast to see the ocean, gardening, cooking all the tasty foods (especially tacos!) & can't wait to spend her 30th birthday dancing with you all!
